Hi there! I'm Pavel Lubanski and I work for Shopify as an eCommerce Consultant. I help store owners boost their sales with search engine optimization, marketing tips and ways to drive traffic to their site. I offer tech support, some design and I do sales! Pitching the company and talking about it is exciting stuff. It's the biggest start-up company to come out of Ottawa and I am more than happy to be a part of the whole process.
Now, since I'm single ladies and full of energy, I take on a plethora of side jobs. I'm an Animator, Writer, Actor and Character Designer so I'm constantly whipping up scripts, dishing out cartoons and coming up with crazy characters.
I've been animating quirky cartoons for the last 14 years. I've made cartoons that have gone viral receiving close to 1 million views. I've taken on many side jobs and contracts for clients animating them web-commercials, promotional cartoon videos, designing websites, business cards and logos.
Prior to working at Shopify, I was a Computer Software Tester at the Department of National Defence. As legit as that job was, deep down in my heart I always wanted to work in the entertainment industry ... or the animation business ... or for an exciting website company which is where I landed.
I also pursue a career in Acting on the side, but at this point in my life, it's more of a hobby. I've been in a few commercials, TV spots, independent movies and I was an extra in a YTV series and a few movies. You can visit my IMDb actor's page at the following address;
